Spa Heater Element SIDE Terminals Style, Flo-Thru Hot Tub Heating Coil 5.5kw 230/115v, new side terminal Flo-Thru heater element, Incoloy 800 sheath, Stainless bulkhead fittings, large sealing o-rings, bulkheads are epoxy sealed on the backside too. Rated 240 volts 5.5kw AND 120 volts 1.375kw Heater housing gaskets (2) included.
Compatible with Balboa M-7 type heaters, where the overall length must be 9.9" or less and must have the correct terminal placement.
Certified, guaranteed good resistance and thorough ground fault tested, prior to shipping. Over 31 electrical tests performed. Includes 2 new heater housing gaskets, standard size for flanged 2.25" outside diameter stainless steel flo-thru heaters. Color varies from silver to dark gray. Not for saltwater, for freshwater use at pH 7.3-7.4

Please be very careful on startup procedure, do NOT put
power to the heater until after the pump has run a good
10 minutes or more on high so all air is out of the system!!
In other words, do not turn up the temperature until you run the pump
10 mins on high speed by pressing the jets button.
Can be run on 230v as 5.5kw (5500 watts) or on 115v 1.375kw (1375 watts), fits many flo-thru heaters requiring side terminals, Balboa M-7, Gecko, Acura controls as well as Morgan, Brett, and many others. Includes an installation guide with tips on proper heating element startup. Sized for 2.25" diameter flo-thru heater housings with 1-1/4" terminal spacing, with 1/2" bulkhead holes in housing, these are all very common, standard dimensions. For a proper fit you need your heater housing to conform to the details listed which again are:
Stainless Steel Housing outside diameter must be 2.25" (2-1/4 inch)
Housing hole size for terminals must be 1/2 inch.
Housing hole spacing must be 1-1/4 inch center to center.
Housing must require an element with terminals offset to one side.
Housing must require an overall element length of approximately 9-3/4 inch.
