I have never seen another one of these. A giant, hard plastic football professionally created with the signature look of the Thorp Sporting Goods football era of the NFL a with Bert Bell as commissioner.
Bell was commissioner in 1958 when Jerry Kramer was drafted. Kramer who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame 2018 was drafted that year along with HOFers Ray Nitchke and Jim Taylor.
Kramer’s journey from the draft to the Hall of Fame marks an incredible 60 year journey.
This incredible, one-of-a-kind item is one of the only ones you will see that has an inscription not only for the 2018 HOF, but the 1958 draft year.
Real Thorp footballs were never sold to the general public and sell into the multiple thousands of dollars.
This unique, giant store display football that measures about 20” across makes for an amazing display.
The Kramer signature is on the opposing side so it can be displayed either way. It is a definite conversation piece.
